About Us

Kermit Jones

Kermit Jones, Jr. is a straight-shooter who works with high-impact individuals and organizations to help them thrive in their leadership, communication, and relationship domains. An author, instructor, speaker, International Coaching Federation Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and Systems Business Coach, he employs a wide range of talent management and leadership development expertise to help clients excel with a focus on emotional intelligence, temperament strengths, and mindset-based transformational change.

Kermit focuses on executive coaching and leader development with a talent for helping high-impact individuals first gain clarity on who they are and who they are called to be. They then develop a clear plan of action and accountability to close the gap. In addition to working with C-suite and frontline leaders in the corporate and non-profit sectors, he brings more than two decades of experience as a Naval Officer and Chaplain to provide a unique perspective when working with clients. He earned his BS in Political Science from the United State Naval Academy, MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and DMin from Midwestern with a thesis centered on an emotional intelligence maturity model.

One of his greatest passions, Dr. Jones works as an instructor with Auburn University’s Office of Professional and Continuing Education to provide custom training to local corporate and community leaders and their teams. His work with interpersonal engagement and emotional intelligence helps his clients increase cooperation and improve workplace culture, resulting in better leadership, more effective teams, and a high ROI of time, energy, and money.

Described by his clients as a straight-shooter who doesn’t hold any punches—yet one who encourages others—he only works with individuals who want to thrive in their leadership, communication, and relationships. His greatest talent is to breathe life and energy into people and situations regardless of their current status, past track record, or even initial motivation. He does this by inspiring, growing, and challenging people to stretch beyond their comfort zones, and then empowering them to take action and lead both themselves and others.

One point of clarification: Kermit is not everyone’s cup of tea. He believes in full transparency and radical candor. As one client pointed out: “with Kermit, it isn’t simply ‘coaching’ but rather ‘high-flame, super-intense, sometimes-you’re-the-hammer-sometimes-your-the-anvil iron-sharpening-iron coaching’ … and I love it because he lets me to me determine the level of intensity. As a leader and human being, I can honestly say it has impacted every aspect of my world.” He can impact your world, as well.
